87 turbo supra a touge car?

i was looking into "touge". i hope i spelled that right, but i believe its basically racing within mountain passes and narrow roads and such.
i got really into and i was thinking, does my 87 supra turbo stand a chance of doing this? this maybe a stupid question but i know my supra goes for 230 hp stock. which is more than enough i think, but what mods or upgrades could i do to bring up the performance in my supra? i was wondering if i should do suspension first than engine specs. [like ngk spark plugs + wires, hks 3000 intake pipe, apexi cold air intake filter, and such.]

what do you guys think i should go and do first? upgrade suspension?[the most i can do right now is upgrade to eibach's springs & later add tokico struts then add front and rear strut towers.]
also by the way, will eibach regular lowering springs work on the stock coilover struts?[ i know this isnt a good idea but can you do this.]?

or should i go w/ performance in the engine.
my engines running 124k when i bought it,its pretty nice and running straight. please help me out!!! i really like how in touge they go into the corners fast and stuff.
im just wondering if suspension would help first or performance.

Biggest downfall for a Mk3 for this style of driving is a: Mass and b: Brakes c: Engine Oil control.

I have big brakes and still manage to cook em up through my test pass

So far 56 corners highest Lateral G of .9 and an average of .6 and -.7G under brakes is the longest it's lasted.

The Fat car is amazing for this type of driving and the next weakest link is the meat bag behind the wheel, by the end I can barely hold my head up.

All depends on how fast you want to go, Big brakes, Coilovers, Poly bushes, good 4 wheel alignment all helps.

going around this speed,i should go suspension wise right?
i dont have the money for coil-overs. could i just upgrade w/ lowering springs to tokico struts?[would the eibach pro lowering spring kits work w/ tems?]

Springs Shocks and Sway bars would be the first things.

You DON'T need a whole bunch of power, the above run was at 5psi and 4200 rpm max and was blindingly fast though the section (I used to run a TT V-8 240z through the same road that weighed 1300lbs less and the Supra is still faster point to point)

I really enjoy mountain driving .I live in the foot hills of the cascade mountains . My car handles good . I have a set of Tanabe Precedo springs with Stock toyota Bilstines(sp) from a front clip. I have notices that the brakes are not up to par . I am going to upgrade soon. And I am tend to run a quart over stock and I change my oil once a month regardless of time driven . I did the oil mods that you can find here by searching . Tire wise I have a set of falken azenias rt615 and they are really stickie . Boost is set at .75 Bar . Power isnt really needed for mountain driving a quick spooling turbo is better then a big ass lag monster.

My best friend has a GTR and another one has a STI i keep up with them on mountain roads all the time so I hope that helps. Just remember one of the best mountain cars was the lowley AE86 .

Highschool kid with turbo supra = bad combo. Go to track school or autocross event where telephone poles and trees are faraway.
