hello
my intro: I had an 85 Celica GTS sold it and and then i found a guy selling a 87 Supra Turbo Targa for $900 (Canadian) and i know right off the bat that the motor was on its last legs (hg and a lil'rod knock.) but the body is in great shape, no rust to be found. so i thought it would be an alright investment to put a new motor into.
sorry for the picture quality (cell phone cam)
I drove it as is for a while and just as i imagined it got worse and so i pulled her off the road. and she sat for a couple months and now i have pulled the old motor and have a jdm 7mgte and a few other knick knacks coming as well.
So far i have Full gasket set, cone filter and adaptor, some gauges.
this weekend.....
engine resealed and regasketed.
engine going in.
engine in.
new rims on
NOW!! for the problem. no fuel. fuel pump doesn't turn on. checked relays and fuses and nothing out of the ordinary. checked for power at the pump and nothing. checked for power at the relay and nothing. so i jumped power to the pump and it turns on. any thoughts?
