Yes I know, I know, why would I do such a thing, and the only answer I have is that it was cheaper, because I bought a whole running parts car, and I didn't have a motor or trans or anything due to an attempt at a previous V8 swap.
So the problem I seem to be having, is the car began life as a 7mgte 5 speed, and now I am putting a 7mgte with a340e into it, and it seems the holes for the rear trans mount don't line up. Has anyone experienced this before? The manual trans mount holes on the car, seem to be narrower than the auto. Do I need to make a bracket? If anyone has done this before, it would be much appreciated to know what you did.
