87 supra na to turbo build questions????

So I have was wondering on my supra do I need the turbo dash wire harness as well to complete my swap? First time supra owner first time swap

Nope. You need the driver board for the turbo's tachometer. Or the whole tachometer. Or a MSD tach adapter. The rest of the dash harness, including cruise control, and the voltmeter just works.

You will likely WANT a boost pressure gauge, but I wouldn't bother with the stock one.

I actually have the turbo cluster and I would like to go with a prosport gauge for the boost

So could I just plug and play the cluster including the tach connector?

Yes, you can, but unless there's something about the replacement cluster that you really want, I'd just replace the tach driver board.

Personally i like the voltmeter in my cluster so i kept the NA cluster. Never can have to many gauges lol!

Yup I'm doing the same I'm gettin a prosport boost Gague any so I don't need factory one lol

The only harness you have to swap is the engine harness. After that an option to swap is the main harness as it will have the correct connectors for the cruise control and boost gauge. Dash and rear harness are the same on N/A and turbo models that are equally equipped (IE TEMS, ABS..).

Now I can't get the cluster back in I'm struggling with getting the speedo cable to go in any tips guys

Patience, and maybe see if you can recruit someone with small fingers. I've had mine out a few times, it's never particularly fun to put back in.
