OK, some pics of some wires Im not 100% about... I dont think I could have searched for this if I tried..... :icon_conf

pic 1: Purple wire coming out of the diagnostic block.... is it a ground?

pic 2: That big thick wire with the little loop connector thing, is it a hot wire or a ground? That little plug thing I don't think was hooked up....

pic 3: Turbo Pressure Sensor, were these on 87's, or were they replaced by #3 in the next pic....

pic 4: #1 - Little white plug, Auto Trans? Car is a 5sp, so my guess is that it was for the AT.

#2 - little 2 wire connector, my guess was a light of some sort ?

#3 - Does this replace the turbo pressure sensor in pic 3? They look the same, only.... different.

Help, anyone? This is all that is keeping me from firing her up...

*bump*

Car was originally a 5sp NA, swapped it over to a 7mgte. Not sure about all the wiring, but the harness came from an 87T, but I have mostly parts from a 91.

One last thing, knock sensor wires... are they wrapped to keep out electrical noise? I know its just a single wire wrapped in another wire, but the outside wire doesn't connect to anything... or am I just looking at it wrong?

1. That purple wire looks weird. On my swap, that wire did not exist.

2. I would guess that it is neither. Appears to plug into something.

In pic 4 the little white plug is not plugged into anything on mine either. My wireing harness is for an auto, but I have a 5-speed. IIRC, it is for the auto tranny.

Number 3 in pic for is your HAC (High Altitude Compensator). You will need it, just mount it somewhere.

Dunno on the others.
