Just curious if anyone would be interested in a 87 Cressida, Auto 5mge. Engine runs really nice, although I have a brake caliper problem that just started today (will be fixed this week). Transmission shifts a little strong, but I don't think it's anything too bad. The prev owner kept ALL the receipts (3 owner car) and shows MANY repairs (Starter, alt, rad, trans/torque conv.... and just about every oil change IIRC has been recorded) The exterior is SUPER nice, 1 "spot" of rust on the Sunroof, and 2 super-small "specs" on the drivers side... obviously being an 87 there are going to be dings, but nothing noticeable. The interior is in really nice shape, except for the seats, which are also being swapped out this week (crappy Toyota leather). The dash, door panels, etc are all in otherwise good shape. Carpet is a bit "dirty" but i didn't scrub it as much as I would have liked to. AC works awesome also....

Anyway, here are a few pics....

And for the damages part.... the only thing "wrong" with the car....
THis pic really captures the carnage, I really don't think it looks as bad in person...

I'm really just curious what this car would be worth.... so if this is in the wrong section.... please tell me and I'll delete it, or more it, or something.... thanks!

Matt

*edit*
I moved it once already.... this seems pretty OT to me though...

My bad mods.... my bad....

There was a 7MGE Cressida here locally for 2500.00 in good shape.

Did they switch over to 5 bolt wheels on that model? IIRC, the wheels were 5 bolt pattern ones.

Also the dash was slightly different.

All in all, a very nice car, with great sleeper potential. (I figure you take a Cressida with the 7M engine in there, change out the ECU for the TCCS from my 88T and the rest of the turbo stuff like 440's etc, and bump that engine up to a nice high compression motor making about 380hp at 15psi.

Don't go crazy with wide tires and fancy rims, just find a set of used sawblades, and mount them up. Run the stickiest 225/50 16's you can find, and it would be a very fun sleeper.

In my mind I see something in the area of $1500 for it, is it worth that much?

Also, it's a crappy 4 lug, like the mkII so wheel possibilities are VERY limited. :icon_conf
