87 Canadian mk3 question

Hi guys im new to the forum. I am the proud owner of a 91 mk3 and a new owner of a 87 mk3 targa turbo. Now i have been reading a little about this narrow body wide body stuff and i realize the difference is usually between the jap and the us models. my question is which one of these would apply to a canadian model (which my 87 is supposedly)?

my understanding is none,

and that the narrow bodies are the 2.0L supra's....

Well, the only reason i ask is because the 87 looks more narrow than the 91, i don't have them side by side but everyone that looks at them says the same thing. Our eyes may just be deceiving us i don't know, any insight is appreciated.

Narrowbody vehicles were only sold in Japan and a couple of other countries outside of North America. All Canadian and USA cars are widebody.
