do i need any accessories to convert from 87 mirrors to 89 mirrors? brackets? anything?

The brackets are the same. I got a bracket from an 86.5 to put on my 90 (it was broken from previous owner) with the 90 mirror and it fits perfectly.
I took off the hideous Pre89 mirrors on my 88' and put on 89+ mirrors. Looks 10 times better. Also, yes, just to clarify again, it fits perfectly.
Pop off the inner plastic piece on the inside, un screw 3 screws and unplug the power mirror plug. Swap. Wah-lah!

Honestly I didn't notice any diffrence between the two. I never really paid much attion to the mirriors on uor cars, I thought they were the same. Learn something new every day i guess.
