Cruising at 80 on 880 South Saturday night. It's late, I'm tired, almost nobody else on the road. A glint in my rearview, a ricer charging hard behind me. He blazes by at 100+. So what does any Supra owner do?

Damn right I chased him down. Stuck it to forth and dropped the hammer. RiceMan continues to accelerate, a futile attempt to pull away from me. I go past him as if he were standing still. Content with my victory, I continue at speed until I am about 1/4 mile ahead, then slow. I have won.

...But RiceBall doesn't think so. He attempts to pass me again. He never regains his lead. Dodging in and out of lanes to stay away from the minimal traffic, we pass the Turbo.

Again, I pull far enough away from him to believe maybe he got the hint. Then they both pull on me. Now, I've already made my point twice, but here we go for #3. As I've said on numerous occasions, I have beaten Turbo Supras in stock trim. This time was no exception.

Forging ahead at 130+ I again pass both these fools. I'm done now. I exit the freeway and head for home.

(BTW, the turbo had the UGLIEST spoiler. Looked like he just bought it from AutoZone, or PepBoys. Obviously not a true Supra owner.)

lol at the spoiler comment.

Keep it safe on the streets and watch out for speed cameras! They are popping up all over now, a new one was just placed on I-94 over by me...scared the shit out of me when I first saw it :)

What do you have done to your N/A? There's no way you should have beaten a turbo
I love seeing this, when people say there is no way you can beat a certain car..etc Some things that people dont take into conciteration is: how well the car runs......if one car is in top runnging condition and the other is running crappy thats one factor. 2nd is the driver, this can play a big role no matter what car your talking about....

I do belive in another thread he stated that he had forged internals etc. but not 100% sure.

It all depends on the car's condition, driver's condition in a race. I was racing my friend's turbo white package with my N/A and he barely pulled on me, probably because his car was dying or needed a tune-up badly. But my other friend with a 91 turbo pulls on me like I'm standing still. It all depends on the car's condition. Nice kill btw, I lost to a ITR from a standstill.

What's so special about 130mph and that being the detonating point to get rod knock? LOL

I hit 161.5mph and the only thing I got was a wet seat and a cold chill. ;)
