8 speaker stereo?

I got my invoice from Curt @ elmhurst on my 92. It says it had a 3 in 1 radio with 8 speakers? Is that cause the 91/92 front speaker pods have a seperate tweater from the 6.5"?

on a side note it was 33975 retail.. lol...

That could be. But I think the real good audio system was the 10(or more) speaker system, if I recall, Factory subwoofer and such.

I'm not sure where they could fit more speakers to be honest.

I know a guy with a factory subwoofer.....

So, 8 speakers: 6.5", and tweeter in each front door, 3" beside the back seats, and the two speakers in the hatch (5.25"?). 10 speaker setup includes two 6.5" subs beside the spare tire.

It's 1 enclosure, with 2 drivers.

my 92 has the twin drive subs in the hatch.. little half moon thing that sits toward the middle of the hatch. sounds cool. I still have the factory stereo with the equalizer control.

sounds great.. its well balanced you know.. not like cheap aftermarket stuff where all the bass is in the back. the music is equal on all sides. now if I could just incorporate that into working with a alpine deck I'd be set.
