Whenever i get around 60mph at WOT, or close to it, the car goes batsh_t. It feels like a rev limiter, but slower. Check engine light comes on, but only stays on for a few seconds, then goes away. The only active codes i have are a 32 or 34, whichever is Turbocharger Pressure. I can get to 100mph+ but only if i stay off the throttle (like 25% of less) and boost low or not at all. I cleaned my AFM with a Q-tip and didn't notice a difference, but my car runs like crap with the sensor unplugged, so i know it isn't bad. A friend of mine suggested a bad TPS, so i got a replacement, i just haven't installed it yet. The turbine shaft play isn't bad and i'm running a MBC turned all the way up, since i ghetto rigged it ( basically it's all the way down, and im running on wastegate pressure. The gate isn't shimmed and i have a Greddy BOV. What the heck is happening?!:3d_frown::cry:

does it happen when you hit hard boost through any gear? or just around that speed? if its happening everytime you hit peak boost, its a little thing called fuel cut...be careful with a MBC.

When you hit fuel cut it will do just what you are describing, you are basically flowing more air than the computer sees as safe, whether its form running too much boost or an air leak somewhere. Considering that you are running a MBC turned all the way up that is most likely the problem you need to take care of.

Stainless steel hose deleting the Pulsation dampener (by neccesity, not choice), HKS Super Drager, K&N Intake, HKS Timer, Cometic MLS with ARP studs are the only other mods, other than a few cans of spraypaint on the stock rims and valve covers lol. It's not fuel cut. Like i said, im running stock boost via the wastegate pressure. Further inspection has revealed a nice crack under the clamp on my accordian hose, right at my turbo inlet. I'm guessing this would be the cause of my Trouble Code, but would it cause the Boost Cut like symptoms too?

When you run a manual boost controller straight from wastegate nipple to turbine nipple, it reverses the dial on the controller. All the way up is actually all the way down, i'm NOT hitting fuel cut.

Ran a vacuum line directly from my wastegate to the turbo, just for gits and shiggles. the controller is just hanging there. Still doing it...

Do a Vacuum test, that will work marvels.
Alot of over oversee how helpful a Vacuum test will work.
I had the same code, and i just had a loose coupling, you have to remember that crack may be small but under pressure it will slightly increase.
But yes, an Abnormal Air leak will make it seem like FC, it happened to me.

Because you're confused about how the car works, that's why. Read what CyFi6 said again. It isn't about PSI. And regardless of the cause if code 34 is being set you *are* hitting fuel cut. That's what the code "does".

Alright guys, i didn't mean to sound like an ass, i'm just frustrated. If it's FC, why does it only happen at that exact time? I can hold full boost at WOT all the way through first and second, it's just when i get to 60 that it happens.
