I'm not sure if this kind of post is allowed. If it isn't, please PM and I'll remove it.

I'm trying to get an avg. price I should be asking for all of the following together:

7MGTE ('89)
- Longblock
- Turbo
- Alternator
- PS pump
- Full Intake
- Full Harness
- ECU
- Coil Pack
- Turbo ignitor
- Spark wires
- Stock Intercooler
- IC piping
- Oil Cooler
- Starter
- 3" Downpipe
- (and all the sensors and little bits)

Everything works perfectly (including the turbo) except for the fact that the engine has a BHG. The head is off the block and is ready to be machined/gasketted and the engine has less than 50,000 miles on it.

Any tips?
Thanks for any info.

EDIT: I thought it was the whole car for some reason....i can be stupid sometimes..

In that case..if just the motor..I would say maybe a couple hundred..depending on the condition of the head and block itself...things like the valve train and how bad the BHG messed up the motor.

If its a stock block that hasn't had the bored modified or anything like that...i would pay 200-600 depending...it does include what i can see has a full 7m swap minus the tranny. and a 3" DP which is a nice addition..i would start at maybe 500..or best offer.

By reading the first post it appears that he only wants to sell the engine, not the car.:icon_bigg

oh i thought this was just the motor

Yeah thats the impression I got. 700 sounds alittle high I've seen running low compression 7m-gte's go for as low as $200. GL

I dunno I have a complete 7mgte(accessories and everything) w/r154 but has a BHG and 180k miles..No rock knock tho..even has coilpacks,3k pipe, both manifolds and a turbo that needs a rebuild..how much do u think that is worth?

With everything for a swap and a 3'' down pipe. Sure alittle more, but with a BHG you never know what your getting. 55,000 miles or not, the motor could be shot. So I wouldn't be willing to spend to much on that set up.

Fix the HG and put a few thousand miles on it and I'd be more gracious.

I paid $990.00(shipped) for a 7mGTE motor with 31,000 miles but even though it had a BHG:(, everything looked like new, ran strong, and was very clean:).

I would say though if you sell everything together you can get $400 O.B.O. but if you sell items off of the motor you can make much more. When I parted out my old 7mgte motor it pretty much paid off my JDM motor+ I had some extra cash to put back into my Supra.
