Definately has Turbo-A parts on it. 3000 pipe and intake manifold are both Turbo-A... and it looks like it has the "A" mark on the turbo. I don't see the wiring for the AFM coming off the harness where it should be either.

Oh, I didn't notice the 3000pipe.

I would ask the seller for a close-up pic of the turbo. You never know if the previous owner of the Supra might have installed that pipe as an upgrade on his 7mgte.

On the 8th pic I see what looks like a map sensor hanging under the intake manifold but it might be a boost pressure sensor
note th map sensor on the fire wall.

IIRC there is a E, where the A is on every other ct26.

Mine has no mark on the raised section.

Also, the MAP sensor is in the back of the manifold, it takes the place of the large freeze plug back there.

I'm 99% sure it's a Turbo-A motor as it has all the parts that make it a Turbo-A (and the rest is just normal 7M stuff and always was). Shame I don't have the cash for it...

If we could get the harness and ECU, then we would need the map sensor off the engine as well as the intake temperature sensor to run speed density on our 7M's, right?

i wouldnt pay for it.

All you get with that motor set is the ECU, Harness, larger 3000 pipe and the turbo. Everything else internally is the same.

The only difference between the regular 7MGTE & Spec-A's are all electroncs my friends. Don't be fooled..some Spec-As also have the intake manifold looking like the 1JZGTE or 2JZGTE. Meaning there is no center pipe with the 3000 numbers across, instead there is a void in the valve cover and the coil pack is placed there instead. Some Crestias, Cresscidas and Supra have them. If I find a pic, i'll post what i mean.

No Turbo A motors ever had a FFIM, not factory im 110% sure of that.
