You can't really "throw" any engine in. It a long process.

IMO stay 7mgte.

Not being mean, it is the same response i get when I've done it. I said not being dick, but since april fools their is a section for 1j,2jz, and misc engines(1uz-fe). Also x23v check out Nash's list of stuff for his 2jz swap. He has it organized in a .PDF format, I forgot the thread name.

+1 the 7MGTE is a very very capable motor. I personally dont see the point in swapping one out if its in perfect working order. There are 7ms making over 800whp.

well, first of all i though that my head were bad and that my valve were bent..but when i took out the head...the head looks fine...so my friend and i check it out and found out that the pistons rings on piston 2 4 5 6 were bad...there were oil and water in it...so im guessing a 2jz or stock 7mgte...im just want to know if it hard to swap a 2jz in my supra...maybe ill just go 7mgte...thanks...guys...

It take a very long time and MONEY for a 2jz swap.

Rebuild your 7mgte for 1/16th of the price of a 2jz and run 500+horses.
