I've been watching for a nice used 7Mgte for my 87 Turbo Auto. I went to Ecology Pick your part last night and there were three new supras just in. Two N/A Autos, and one Turbo Manual. So I bought the 7MGTE minus the turbo, the manual tranny from the turbo, and a nice read end from one of the autos. The engine looks like it had been running good and not burning any oil as far as I could tell by the color in the exhaust ports. So questions is, I believe the tranny is an R154, am I right, doesnt really matter though. I bought everything for 450.00, and 160.00 to have it all removed and loaded in the back of my van. Now I can get to work of getting the Tubro back on the road, nice and slow and done right. The tranny and read end are for my 89 N/A I got back on the road about two months ago.
