I got a 89 supra with a blown head gasket. The real problem is that the h/g was replaced and now isnt starting. Was running fine till the h/g was replaced. Turns over and attempts to start but doesnt. Timing is on, new spark plugs n wires. Need help
Is cps gear in time? Before u removed it u should have put a reference mark on it for instulation. I made the same mistake so what I did was pulled it out and rotate it a little then reinstalled and I kept doing that until I got it to crank. From that point u have to make sure the timing is right. That is another topic. Make sure everything is plugged up first then give the cps a shot. Proably ur problem thou.
