Hey guys i've got an 88mk3 7mgte with the folowing mods upgraded t3/t70 turbo not sure of specs cause its an ebay turbo,3inch vband downpipe 3inch exhaust piping all the way to tip no cats no muffler,40mm synapse external wastegate set at 10psi,drift motion fmic all 2.5 inch hard pipes new couplers and tbolt clamps, synapse bov vented to atmosphere 3000pipe bov fitting threaded and pluged, auto to r154 swap, clutch fan delete, almost brand new ngk bcpr7es plugs gaped to spec less than 2k on them, ngk blue plug wires, anyways thats the most of the mods i can remember now heres the problem.Recently while i was driving anytime i tried to do a pull if the boost gauge moved of negative the car would start to jerk and miss like it was hitting fuel cut even at 1psi on the boost gauge. So anyways i did the common diagnostic procedures checked the codes which were 34 so i checked and rechecked for boost leaks and vac leaks found not one however i did find out my cps was leaking oil cause of a cracked housing so i replaced it with an almost brand new one retimed the car as per tsrm 10btcd with e1 and te1 shorted timing is spot on.Anyways after not finding any boost/vac leaks i decided to change my afm sensor with a know good one and reset ecu and after doing so i took the car for a test run and it ran perfect boosted to 10psi with out any problems so ok a bad afm not common but possible. So all was good for about 2days then it started doing the same thing again so i checked the codes no codes stored at all.So what do you guys think could be causeing this it feels just like fuel cut but at starts at almost negative psi im lost i cant see it being another bad afm sensor unless something is causing them to go bad.Any ideas would be appreciated someone must have had the same symptoms before with some sort of resolution or idea of what caused it.

even though you can't see it being the afm why don't you go to a pull apart and get a new one and put it on to verify it isn't bad..there's always a posibility it is bad

yep you need t recirculate the bov back into the intake before the turbo or else you're going to stall comin off boost becuase there won't be enough air to burn the fuel

I just wanted to say thanks everyone for all your suggestions and i know the bov should be recirculated but was in now way the cause of my problem. My problem was actually a very big one. I guess at some point an egr valve tube came loose and relesed hot exhaust gas that melted 1/2 of the engine wiring harness together it was a mess of bare touching wires and molten wiring insulation all stuck together. How the car even ran with all of these bare wires touching and being melted together is beyond me and never even threw a code besides 34 is just crazy but anyways here are some pics of how bad it was. Also the car is running perfect now with no problems.:icon_bigg

now i'm wondering if that's my issue too. i can usually hit 10psi if it's not cold out. today i decided to crank it up on the highway. it held 13psi in 4th and 5th gear. why the hell is it so intermittent?! :(

Well fuel cut is bassed on engine load not just boost pressure so there are a lot of variables. But if your expieriencing problems like i described in my first post i checking everything per tsrm.
