This is my first build thread so bare with me recently i bought a turbo mkiii wich later found that it had it a burnt valve so me and a friend decided to remove the head get it sent to get rebuilt car is still not put back together waiting on my 1.4 mm metal headgaskets to come in here are some pics any suggestions for the build also im looking for a hose that connects to head i think it carrys coolant or something but it ripped in the process of removing the head so i need one now

after the head is removed cover it with some towels

sent the head to machined this how it looked when it came back

We need a sticky that just says: "Mhg REQUIRES professional engine block machining for ANY level of reliability."

SOOOOOOO many people are unaware how important that step is.

well everything was done the block was decked as well thanks for the info now my harness has been redone since it was crap and all i really need now is a turbo rebuild but thats going to have wait for a bit but i just recently picked up some door panels this past weekend from a member here i just fell in love with them and put on the winks rear view mirror
