Is the head off a 7mgte compatible with a n/a 7mge block? If possible would the 7mge block be able to hold the boost? thnx

head castings are identical. Cams are different, and would probably hurt the low end of the GE. Heads will bolt on with no issue though.

Depends on the year of the engine. Cams were not the same the entire way through.
Still, it is of little consequence. The heads are close enough to being the same that it doesn't really matter. The cams may make a slight difference, but either will probably work fine.

Thanks guys for the input. So changing the cams and bolting that gte head right on would work fine with that ge block? possible turbo damage?

Why not just use the ge head that you have and buy a gte intake cam.
Like everyone has said the heads are the same.
Ge heads are usually in better condition as they dont get as much abuse.
