7mgte complete head compatible with 7mge block??

Depends on the year of the engine. Cams were not the same the entire way through.

Still, it is of little consequence. The heads are close enough to being the same that it doesn't really matter. The cams may make a slight difference, but either will probably work fine.

Thanks guys for the input. So changing the cams and bolting that gte head right on would work fine with that ge block? possible turbo damage?
This might be my desert toy ^__^

the year of the ge block is 88 and gte head is 88 as well

i see, well im not really worried about the tuning that can be done no prob just really hoping it will work without having spend on a complete gte

Why not just use the ge head that you have and buy a gte intake cam.

Like everyone has said the heads are the same.

Ge heads are usually in better condition as they dont get as much abuse.
