Gotta Pay To Play
So a turbo 91 Supra came into the local yard last week and I got a pretty good deal on the motor so I went ahead and pulled it.During the tear down it was missing some items.I'd just go look at mine but im at school and its about 300 miles away. Was curious if anyone could shed some light on what i'm missing

Also the exhaust manifold was blackened on the back half of the motor. It was even blackened on the head.Is that a sign of a manifold exhaust leak ?

- Its where the "?" is.
- Any other comments, concerns or questions are welcome.

Thanks all =]

1st pic the three bolts together are the a/c compressor bracket. The one closest to the intake manifold looks like the bracket that helps support the manifold. I don't know what that plate is off hand.

2nd pic the bolt closes to the thermostat housing is the bracket for the power steering. The one towards the back I don't know. The black might be a loose exhaust manifold

1st pic going from left to right.
a/c bracket.
another place for the knock sensor but it is correct and is supposed to be like that(u only have two knock sensors but 3 holes).
the plate is blank on mine as well so no worries.

2nd left to right.
A plug goes there so just get a bolt that fits there and close it off.
the oil pressure sending unit screws in that hole.

So I'm missing a KS and some universal bolts, Any idea on why i have so much exterior oil residue on the intake side of the block ?

I highly doubt any type of fire was involved with this motor,
But thanks for the interesting reply.

no you have both knock sensors, 18+ years of leaking oil

like nick88 said you have all of your knock sensors and they are in the correct place

Ok I just caught that.

Ya, I get that but from where?..I want to fix that issue when I get the block rebuilt, Oil only usually leaks from oil pan gaskets and seals.
