Soo I about 3 months ago I ran the shit out of my bone stock 7mge and paid the price (threw a rod), seeing this as an opportunity to go turbo i purchased a jdm 7mgte online. Well when the engine came it was missing alot of parts that should have been included like the intercooler and piping and the wiring harness was all cut up. Being on a low budget and in need of a car I stripped down both engines and bolted up all of the non turbo parts to the turbo block. Now my car is a dog and I know the lower compression is most likely the cause. Is there anything I can do to squeeze a little more "umf" out of my car?

the only thing 7mgte is the block and internals, everything else is swapped off the 7mge

Wait a second....are you saying that you're running a 7M-GTE block/internals with or without a turbo? Do you have the GTE ignition? Injectors?

ya.. use the search button. all the info you need is there.
you NEED ingitor, AFM, CPS, etc.
No, he basically is running a 7MGE. The only thing that is GTE is the block. The only difference is the compression and the oil squirters.
At the OP: Was the harness, IC, piping etc advertised as coming with the engine? To get more power (significant) out of the motor, you basically need to go turbo, or high compression.

oohh ok now i understand, he used the gte block to make the ge run again.
OP, the only thing you can really do to get more oomph from the engine is bolt a turbo to it.
