7mge wont start

Hey guys i have an 86.5 supra mk3 7mge that i did a hg job and now that im done the car wont start .....
When im trying to start it i can hear it back fire in the engine compartment and threw the exhoust..
Also theres a connector that i cant figure out where its from .. It has two wires colored red and yellow..
If some one can please give me advice or anybody live near Aurora CO who can help me i would really apreciate it.

Sounds like timing. Did you verify your #1 piston at TDC, cam marks on, rotor at #1 plug wire, and crank mark at "0"?

The red white wire were is it located, or a picture would help.

When you set the crank at 0 what is need to be taken off and what do you mean wire 1 to cylinder 1? I will get a pic of the connector tommorrow..

Can some one post some pics of how the distributor should be lined up and wich wires go in wich cylinder it would really help thanks.

And the problem was...drumroll....

Rotor was not set to number one plug and intake manifold was missing some bolts.
