I'm replacing a lot of gaskets in my mk3 7mge I just bought it a month ago for my first car and I bought a graphite head gasket kit for it since it needs a new one but I also went ahead and bought ARP head bolts and studs and tips of advice for when installing

Yeah ^ make sure to check both head and block for warpage since the PO might have over heated it if he blew the head gasket.

For the ARP's (studs) screw them in finger tight, then with the head back on torque them down to what the instructions say, somewhere around 90lbs.
After 5 or so heat cycles re-torqe the head bolts = win.

Also if it is your first time taking apart an engine, take lots of pics and or use masking tape to lable connectors and hoses :)

pre-edit since i caught it lol, did you get head bolts and studs? You only need one type, prefer studs.
