7mge Missing...

Help please, if you can... I shut my Supra off one night this past week running right... Got up the next morning and started the car just fine except that it was missing at fast idle... and continues after several days. It is missing in all phases, including acceleration after warm up. I've removed and cleaned the ISC. I've also pulled the plugs and cleaned them and replaced them... of course. I'm reading the manual and am pulling a Code 51. When I orginally checked the codes I also had a code 14 which then was gone after a reset.
Prior to this miss turning up, I had for some time had bad smelling exhaust. I'm wondering if I might have a bad EGR valve and/or a bad Oxy sensor. Anyway, if anyone has any insight here I'd sure appreciate hearing the word. I'm planning to take a 600 mile trip starting this weekend if I can get the car working properly so I'm kind of up against it. I've also cleaned my K&N. The car has new tune-up parts in the last 1500 miles. :1zhelp:

u should check your distributor cap & rotor , they tend to karoad ... if your exhuast smells u might have a exhuast leak or a broken gasket some where , somtimes that couses it to miss, check your temp sending switch on the water neck , its in the 2nd pic that my fingers on , unplug n run your car for like 10 min. if the problem goes away the its the sensor screwed into your water neck .. when they go bad it couses it to miss puff out black smoke , all kinds a stuff from a stupid sensor, when its bad n u unplug it , it bybasses the problem n makes the car think its running cold !!!!! on the other hand if u unplug it n its a good sensor when the cars running ill poor out smoke n miss...

karoad?

"when its bad n u unplug it , it bybasses the problem n makes the car think its running cold"

Actually no. An open thermo water sensor will cause the TCCS to default to a hot condition. It enters the fail safe mode and presumes a 178 degree F condition. It's all in the TCCS manual.
