7mGE clutch... clutch master

Can a 7mge with some modifications making 600HP to the wheels... using a 3.73 LSD and a W58 hold a FX700 kit from clutch master or a Fx600 clutch master..

If it is a No can It hold at least 500HP...

Don't think you would get a GE clutch to take 600hp nor a GE to produce more than 300 hp.

GE isn't going to even come close to that unless it's boosted the hell out of, so call it a GTE. While they may make a clutch that would hold the power for a W58, the W58 isn't going to take those power levels. Also, they're rated at torque not horsepower.

The tranny *could* take that kind of numbers, as long as it is in something significantly lighter than a Mk3 Supra shell. Probably be fine in a Mk2, or an older Nissan Z car.

although the thing is that clutchmaster makes does model FX600 and FX700 that can hold a lot amout of power, and I just call them with the curiosity and they told me that it can take that kind of abuse since they didn't have anyone having any kind of bad experience with the transmission or engine... They even give me prices for the disk in case of replacement...

They are probably talking about folks who have added a turbo to the Mk2, or swapped in a GTE engine in the same chassis. There is a LOT less stress there, because the power is moving a much lighter chassis.

Maybe that's why they told I can use it but I can't put sliks on it... and basically if I want it for drag maybe not to start really strong... they almost told to use a fx500 that is cheaper and can hold power that is what they told me

Basically the price for each disk was like 200, and Can even order with them a triple disck set up but they told me that it will be a harder and probably I'll be rolling dices with the trans... What will be better
