Before I get started, I know I could do a 1JZ or a 2JZ swap and achieve these numbers a lot more easily, but I'm pretty stuck on my 7M, so please just go with me on this...
My '88 Turbo threw a rod early this summer, and I'm starting work with my mechanic to plan a completely new build, top-to-bottom. My goals are pretty nuts, and we just started planning, but to make the power I'm hoping to get (700hp at the wheels, with full spool by 3500rpm) my mechanic thinks we need to go with a twin turbo set up. The problem I'm facing now is that I have no idea where I can go to have an equal length twin manifold made for a 7MGTE. And yes, it needs to be equal length; I'm not cutting any corners this time around.
If anyone knows where I can go for this, I'd really appreciate it if they could share. I'm certain this is going to have to be a custom job, but who would be willing to fab it, and do a good job?
