NOYFB!
Went out to the track today for T&T w/ Kyle A. (Disced) and his friend w/ the GT30 equipped Eclipse (and my son w/ his WRX) Kyle represented well, with a car, he's not used to racing yet, and on street tires.:1zhelp: His best time was 13.85 @108mph, almost 109. His 60' needs some work though!:biglaugh: Drag racing is not an exact science, for sure!!! You could tell the Supra has way more potential,:boink: as he was working on trying to get his AVCR set up correctly, to run some bigger boost,:naughty: and get that big ole' lazy turbo up off it's ass!!! :biglaugh: Our MkIV buddy Michelle(aka SupraWoman!) off of the SF's also ran her Greddy T78 equipped beast to a 12.63 @119mph. Track surface was cool, and very slippery, as several cars almost bit the wall!:icon_eek:
All in all, a fun day, with everyone driving their cars home in one piece!:icon_razz Sure wish I could have ran mine also, but I clearly have issues! My son tripped the beam 14.22 @95 in his little ole' WRX, not too bad for a shitty 60' (2.5:icon_mad: ) and 91,000 miles on the odometer!
Hope to see more MkIII peeps in the coming months, lighten em' up out there!:burnout: :bigthumb:

Sounds like a great day at the track! Gotta start requesting sundays off, although i work in the evenings, what time did you guys leave?

BTW Kyle, If you lost the AVCR settings from MDC, i can help you out, send me a PM or call me

I'll be out there as soon as my real Supra is running (and broken in)

Yea... That run was 2.5 60 ft and i bogged off the line AND I only ran 16 lbs AND I shifted early in 2 gears.. But no excuses for me.. I finally figured out the avc-r manual settings for boost/duty and was able to hit/hold 1.5 bar while on the way home, i figured since it was raining hard, at 90 MPH in 4th the tires wouldn't spin if I dipped into 1.5 bar hard... lol, wrong... On race gas, of course...Pulls so much harder it's INSane.. Hopefully it will clear up next Sunday so I can run faster than that garbage of a time.. And hopefully I can pick up these rims soon enough so I can get some nice drag radials mounted up.....

It was a good 'test n tune' day...

Ill hit it up one I get a better clutch..... for my new car that is. I sold my supra (as some of you know) and got a GSX thats is quite quick. I dont want to be dissed form the supra community for gettin a gsx, but it is more in my repair price range.

there she is..

We all know supra's > dsm's.

I pulled on my friends car with the stock IC/IC piping but the same amount of boost.. I guarantee I'll pull 10 x harder once the ronr short runner and 12x24x4inch IC goes on.. as well as once I get those slicks... OH shit son.. can you say mid to low 12 second passes all day.. I don't think I'll hit into the 11's unless I can get past fuel cut somehow.. Which isn't going to happen unless I go AEM...

well I dodnt get it to be faster than supras, I got it for a good "quick" daily driver that has great traction. thats all... haha. Its got a few mods to it like boost controller and whatnot. The really cool thing is the Evo turbo hooks right up without any modification.
