First you will need to make sure you engine can handle the power upgrades you want to throw at it. This means do all basic maintenance, get rid of any leaks etc.

You will need ARP head studs and a metal head gasket to hold the boost you will need to achieve 350-400whp. Machining the the head and decking the block are recommended.

You have many ways to go about making this amount of power I will list the cheaper route.
- AFPR
- 550cc injectors
- Maf-t Pro or Lexus AFM & SAFC-II
- Upgraded CT-26, 57 trim or 60 trim (available through Driftmotion)
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- 2.5" ICP and FMIC
- Boost control of some sort
- Stage 3 Clutch

Good luck. (And remember we do have a search bar at the top)

Stock internals should hold up fine at 400whp. If you are pulling everything apart though and you DO need to replace pieces, then you might as well start looking at upgraded parts. If you want piece of mind, you can put in some forged pistons and ARP hardware, but things are pretty solid down there. Metal headgasket and ARP head studs are always suggested on the top end though.

As for bore, take as little as you possibly need to off. 0.020" or 0.040" are pretty standard overbores for the 7M. I don't know once you get any further than that though, someone else might be able to chime in there.

thanks for the good tips every advice i get is greatly appreciated. if i do go with stock internals. i would replace the pistons with toyota oem or try and use npr. ive have been worried about the bore, im hoping i will only have to go .20 over to clean it up
