How hard is it to get 500whp from a 7m? Then how hard for a 1jz for same amount of power? And finally 2jz?

Also what would ballpark figures be to get to that power on each motor?

500rwhp 7m your going to need to rebuild the motor with strong bearings, nice pistons, maybe rods, ARP everywere, MHG, and everything needs to be machined and balanced, and a big turbo! Of course thats if you want it to last.

500rwhp 1JZ probably just a big turbo with all the supporting mods.

500rwhp 2JZ, why only 500rwhp? Its a 2jz.

From an engine standpoint, not hard at all.

Key is money, time & patience.

Realistically, assuming all your moving parts are healthy, you don't need to touch your motor internally. There are plenty of people on the boards putting down 500+ with head/block machining, MHG, ARP's, lots of boost and lots of fuel. ;)

But on the other end...Once you get into this type of power, you'll want more...So why not go full-build? :)
