Hey all! I've been trying to plan my mods, and need to figure out how far I'm willing to go for what power returns. I think I would stop before installing a FFIM, so that's probably my line. However, I'm not sure what that line is. :)

How much power could you expect to get out of the 7M-GTE without replacing the stock intake manifold? What would be the reasonable maximum? I would assume that all other mods and enhancements could be possible. I'm just drawing a line here in my mind. I won't be going crazy with stuff, but do plan on spending time and money to get good results.

Thanks!

People have made well over 700whp using the factory manifold. There's no need to replace it. I personally hated the way it looked, so I swapped mine out for an FFIM.

Many people don't like the long intercooling routing. You could always have the stock manifold go through Extrude Hone.

Yea the stock manifold is actually a good design from a flow stand point it's just most people hate the way it looks and the awkward intercooler piping arrangement But if you want to keep your A/C your going to have to live with it because most FFIM delete the a/c to make room
