7M-GTE Internals Question.

I was curious if anyone knows what type of internals(Cast or Forged) the 7M-GTE has?

Cast, not forged.

The cast internals are very strong. You can replace them with NPR which are good stock quality. We did a 7M putting 424RWHP on a solid tune with a AEM unit in stock internals.

We had the crank polished and use Toyota bearing to bring everything into spec on the tight side. Thank IJ for help on that.

We had a T4 setup for boost down low since I am not spinning to 8,000RPM and spring and retainers for the head and a lash adjustment. The stock internals can take a good beating.

We sold that car and the kid driving it uses it as a daily when the weather is nice and drives it hard all the time.

A oil cooler setup is a must. The stock system does not cool at low PSI.
