I have a us 87 mk3 supra turbo factory i want to put a 89 JDM 7m-GTE motor and 88 JDM 7m-GTE ecu is that possible?Ohh and this is my firstpost to this site the guys from celicasupra.com directed me here.Any replies welcome i really want to do this.

putting it all in is possiable. as long as you have the wiring harness to match the engine(thats the best wat imo). as far as the motor mounts, im not too sure about the diffrence.
ya, but the motor mounts dont line up. I THINK you have to use an 89+ turbo subframe, but I'm not sure, you may just need the 89+ mounts.
Speaking about the motor mounts i was just reading a post about it and i think all i have to do is use the old mounts off my us spec motor and get spme tabs and maybe a machine shop to angle them.

use the ecu and wire harness you already have, if your motor mounts look different from the ones on the motor you are getting, use the ones that worked in your car already.

Alright thanx this is my first swap i have ever performed but i love the mk3 supra always have and i got a hold of one and im really excited.My other car is a 2002 subaru wrx i blew up 3 gearboxes and sold it and bought the supra so here i am
