7M-GTE block ???

Hey guys my block is toast, I found a block but it doesn't have the main caps however mine are fine. My question is are the block and mains casted together or is it ok to get them from another block?

If it's anything to you, we had a cam cap crack on us w/ a 22re celica head, and pulled one from another head. We had to take some off of it w/ emory cloth so the cam would turn. It has worked so far.

I bet if you talked to guys @ the machine shop, the may be able to take your old caps and make them work w/ the other block. It'd be worth a shot?!?
