Alright I know this has been posted probably fifty times, but I just want to make sure nothing has ever changed, I need to know somethings, first off:

- What head gasket should I use from HKS 1.0 1.2 mm? Also with ARP HEAD ( STUDS ) what torque would I use, the machine shop will be doing this I need specs to be exact, please dont' post in this forum if you are not 110% sure what you are saying.

I think i will have the motor rebuilt now, should I just go stock oem? or .010 Over? What is the advantages of .010 Over, and should I use arp rod bolts, I mean are they that important to put arp ones on? Are there any other things I need to remember HKS yes needs 30 Ra or less I do know this,: I am noting everything I am reading for pure accuracy:

Is there anything i need when rebuilding this motor I should do that will help the motor in the future? Anyhting shoudl be done with the crank ,

NOW IS THERE ANYTHING * the Machine shop should know? This si very important my information is there information which equals the outcome of my motor.

: I Am loooking for someone to get into depth with this motor with me a long post would be great! thanks again, I will check arp site as well, thanks guys I am really trying to get this car running it's my only car, and this really right now has been a hassle, I am not going to reuse the titan motor sport 1.4 mm head gasket, :| Iv decided not to. thanks :1zhelp:

You get a head gasket based on how much is taken off of the block, and taken off of the head... your machinest should tell you, and then you go and buy one based on that information...

ARP Head Studs come with instructions, read them...

If you can get away with just honing the cylinders walls and reuse the same pistons, go for it, it'll save you a bundle in the end.

How much power are you looking to push? more power, bigger clearances...

Personally i would just cut the crank .10 under, get your oil clearance whatever you want.

The head studs come with a piece of paper telling you exactly how to torque them and to what. I believe its something like 4 pases ending at 80ftlbs or maybe 82.

You did read this in the other thread...right?

Pretty sure the link will answer most of your questions. ;)

Bowser - The torque spec is very dependant on the lube used on ARP's hardware. He should just follow the spec sheet vs a "guess". Plus, this is a very good read: ARP Install Tips
Section #1, especially "Using a Torque Wrench"
