Picked up a 88' Supra with a 7M-GE as a project awhile back. Finally tried to turn the car on and nothing happens. I checked all the grounds, fuses and plugs to make sure nothing was missed and nothing. I thought this one plug that I missed was the problem but found out it was only the horn alarm. When I put the key in the On position in the ignition nothing happens. No dashboard lights or anything. The things that work are: The headlights, hazards, the little lights in the door panels, key chime noise and the door ajar light on the dashboard. I tried locking and unlocking the car with the key in the door to reset the alarm and still nothing. Is the alarm causing this or is it something else? I'm using a Odyssey PC680 for a battery and I disconnected after I tried to start it to make sure it wouldn't drain.

Oh, I thought it was something else. My bad.

All I can get working at the moment are the headlights. Those pop up and down, Hazards when I press the button (turns wont work when I try them individually), Key ring lights up, door ajar lights up on the dash when the door is open and the key chime. When I put the key on the 'On' position, I hear nothing. Not lights light up on the dash nor do I hear anything. Going to keep on Googling and searching on the forum and see if anything pops up that kind of sounds like my situation.

Thanks for the help so far. Really appreciated.

hey connect a positive wire from the battery to the starter, see if you can get it crank over, my supra didnt want to start sometimes, so i just wired up a push button start to it , and it solved my problems. , now if it cranks but doesnt start, theres probably a bad fuse or relay somewhere.
