7M exhaust manifold thread

I keep seeing lots of threads asking about the different manifolds for the 7M so I decided to make this thread to show the many options that have been available for the 7M. I have a few manifolds here at my house so I can take mounted pics of those. Anybody with pics of other manifolds out there please PM me and i will add them to the thread.

HKS long runner
this manifold requires the use of a tangental exhasut housing as on center housings cause the turbo to hit the shock tower

HKS short runner
there are various replicas of this manifold such as the ones made by Dynamic Autosports, Turbonetics and powerhouse. this manifold was originaly designed for the 5M MK2 supra and uses an on center exhaust housing on the turbo. A tangental can be used but often requires a spacer as the compressor housing will hit the manifold. uses a standard 40mm HKS wastegate.

this manifold is what the ebay manis are a copy of. Quality is top notch and has braces for the runners to the head flange.
Also can use modded stock heat shields.

Greddy
this is one of the rare greddy manifolds that hang the turbo under the runners.

Trust Twin Turbo
this manifold is for the use of Greddy/mitsubishi TD05 turbos. very rare and is the base for the OBX knock off twin turbo manifold.

This is to use a T04 on a stock 7MGTE manifold with a Tial 38mm watesgate. Its made out of stainless steel and requires an on center turbine housing. Turbo compressor housing hits the head when a tangental housing is used.

Great right up.. I have the HKS long runner manifold and my SP59GT (with the TO4E compressor housing) bolted right on with no fitment problems at all.

I wish people would stop posting up pictures of that Greddy twin turbo manifold. Every time I see it, it gives me serious thoughts about changing my turbo to a twin EVO 16G setup.

againstdawall: Tangental = inlet flange off to the side of the turbine housing.
On center = inlet flange inline with the turbine housing.

Oh yeah, on the twin turbo manifolds is it possible to run two different turbos on there?? Lets say one T04e ball bearing "50" trim for low spool, and a T series on the other for the high end? Would that be possible? But then only three runners would be trying to spool up the big one... hmm. Or do they both have to be the exact same turbo?
