Hey, first off i have a 1986.5 toyota supra N/A 7m, i was driving last night and it was fine i was on the highway and everything and i almost got home and then the engine started to idle weird so i shut it off and did a quick visual check and nothing seemed out of place, at first it sounded like a missfire, then i tryed to limp it home and it developed a horrible almost ticking sound, sounding like it was coming from the engine or trans, i just did an oil change so maybe the guy who sold me it knew it had a knock and put thicker oil in or something but if anybody has had this happen it would be greatly appreciated if i could get some help on this, thank you

you said you drained the oil? Did you look at the oil when it was draining? if so was it black in color with grey streaks or any copper looking flakes?
it was black there were no streaks of anything in there, but it was running low on oil before i did the oil change
