Guess it's time for an introduction. 
I'm pretty much a full-time lurker right now. I'm more into the v8 world, but am about to venture into the I6 FI one.
I picked up my dad's old Toyota pickup, with the weak 22re. I've replaced the timing chain, water pump, oil pump, etc, but it's days are still numbered. I plan to swap in a 7mgte this summer. Still looking for the right donor car for all the parts at the right price.
For now, I'm trying to soak up as much as I can about 7mgte problems & rebuilding...
