yea its all in the frame. even with frame damage though how much $$ you think you could get out of that as far as parts and drivetrain

I would watch for the frame as well. If he hit something hard enough with the bumper and crash bar in place hard enough to damage the radiator it was probably a pretty good whack. Judging from how hard people have hit things and they didn't provide enough impact to even touch the radiator.

It'l be a good parts car. You could easily sell the $600 it cost to buy with parts from it. I'l get you started, $20 for CPS unit :wiggle:

Get the VIN and run a check, it may help. I've seen minor fender benders show up on cars sometimes so anything large should too. DrakeMK3 on here has free VIN checks for a month.

And maybe I missed this but is it a turbo or N/A? If N/A parting it out may not be as easy.

No need to be sad. I'm guessing you are new to supras? A $600 N/A would be a great start if you are AND this car is not a heap.

Run that VIN and see how many accidents/owners and miles are on the car. It said 17 records so there is pleanty of history there to help you make a decision.

Also, it's very hard to believe there is a "new" 7M-GE (N/A) motor in there with 8000 miles. Maybe the guy meant 80,000 OR it was somewhat rebuilt 8000 miles ago. You have to get more facts.

Get some digital pics and post them here so we can help you more.

sport i think just designates if it had the targa or the moon roof.a turbo would of course have the turbo motor and the pressure gauge in the dash.if you were to buy it,you could make a killing just selling the parts on e-bay!look for other badging like on the underside of the hood,it will have vacum diagrams and stuff.

understand if the frame is bent bad enough, you can be driving down the street cock eyed. It looks like a neat trick, but a trick that can never be undone :) Ive seen it happen so be on the look out.
