is my supra a 6 volt? the guy at the parts store said it was, but the battery doesnt seem to work AT ALL?!?!

j/k

the 6v batt in the power wagon is on its way out, itll go dead after it turns over about three times. each time i wanna start it i gotta put the battery on the charger overnight.

i got to advance and pick up the only 6v they sell, its got 700 ca and around 630 cca, if i remember right.

comparing it to the truck (840 ca and 708 cca) this one is maybe 3 inches smaller in length and about the same height.

anyone know where i could get one of the same size, cause the smaller 6v doesnt even try to turn the engine over.

my dad had one in his tractor like forever ago but converted it to 12 volt...have you thought about doing this?

I haven't seen a 6 volt battery in a long time...I wouldn't have a clue who would carry on other then a tractor supply like place...good luck.

I used a 6 volt in my 1950 chevy for a very short time, then had starter(prior to motor swap) rebuilt for 12volt and swapped in an altenator. You might call around to firms that restore vehicles and see how they source their 6volt batteries

ima check with interstate batteries down the road here, they should have a new or reconditioned one.

as for converting it to 12v - vintagepowerwagons.com sells a kit, but i think thats 300-400 bucks.
