57 trim-stock fuel system

since i got all my parts together for my parts, i'm getting antsy to put this thing together and drive it!i am planning on a 57 trim but i will defiinatly not gonna have enough money to get my maft pro+wb+550's etc to really up the boost.i just wanna know if running stock boost with a 57 trim is safe?i mean if i can run 14 psi and be "safe"is stock boost pressure on a 57 "safe".also i hope boost doesnt increase with full 3" exhaust and 2.5" ic pipes.

Im running a 57 trim ct26 with a few mods but Im only boosting 12psi-13psi... I havent had any issues but Im hunting an oil issue as my car is not smoking and not dripping but consuming oil over time. Im thinking its blow by. I have to hunt down a 7mGTE to redo.

yup you'll be fine on stock boost. Wont be much different than stock turbo either at stock boost.

I'm fairly happy with my setup -

upgraded fuel pump, Aeromotive AFPR, Cleaned/Flowmatched 440's, and the stock AFM. I use a WB and NEO to tune it, but even before that, AFR's and EGT's were good at ~12.5 psi.

99% of the time I run 10psi, but I do dial in my high setting of 14psi every once in a while. I have never hit fuel cut or experienced anything that gave me pause.

I was originally going to switch to 550's, but since 10psi feels pretty good to me - I am sticking with that for now.

You shouldn't have any problems with what you want to do, provided everything else in your car has been well maintained.

Yup, i've hit fuel cut sever times with my 57 trim with a shimmed WG. You'll be fine.
