Who much needs to be taken off to allow use of an exhaust cut out to be used without boost creep? It seems like I have increased the diameter by 1/5-1/4 of an inch. Here is what I have done so far.
Yeah you cant see from the picture but I removed a lot of material from that edge you speak of. Do you think the porting that I have done will even make much of a difference?
You mean smooth the edge before the hole? I guess I will need to put my wire attachment on so I can get at it a better angle. Do you have any pictues of what it is suppose to look like?
Yes thank you very much for that!! Hopefully widening the hole is not go to slow the spool down like they are saying. But I dont understand how it is going to make he turbo spool faster by doing this. At least that is what was said on that forum.
Hmm well now is the question of how much is too much. When I ran open downpipe I would hit fuelcut around 3-4000rpms in anything but first gear because it creeped up so fast.
