no, it welded to the flywheel on the launch I assume. It wasn't even a hard launch (didn't slip it too bad :dunno:) I had to rev match to shift with no clutch, Its a good thing I drive a semi...

Shifting without the clutch isn't as easy as some might think. It used to be easier with older model trucks, but no so easy with supras. I would have abandoned the run and coasted as far as I could...........lol

I know 15 seconds is a really long time, but in the heat of the moment I thought I was just nervous and missing shifts, when I struggled into fourth right before the finish I knew it was more then bad driving... I still had a blast. I'll be back, thats all I can say.

what a trap for a 15 second pass, lol. With a great clutch and some more practice, it seems like you have what it takes for 12's once you get the power down to the floor.

More seat time and a proper clutch set-up you are good to go.

No calling out until you actually make some decent passes IMO LOL ;)

I hope you had a good time the entire weekend anyway.

Your joking right?

I made 620 last year and ran a 11.flat@130.29. He has a 10 sec car when he gets some seat time in that thing. Remember he has 667 at the wheels. That was just a bunk run.

Will drag radials hold Nates car or will he have to have slicks? What do you run Duane? I can't wait to go to a 1/4 mile track. Most of ours around here are 1/8. It's hard to hook up cause our track is so slick for the first 100 feet.............lol

I was on pump gas for the run (538whp), it was my first time ever drag racing. I'll be back with a better clutch, race gas and some sticky tires. Even with the problems, those 15 seconds were alot of fun. Shifting trucker style licks balls though...
