400 hp

i need some help i have a 88t auto and im trying for 400 hp to the wheels. And still be a daly driver. Heres the list of stuff i allready done
HKS-super flow intake/f-con/3"Dp/and 3" super drager no cat/fuel cut defer.
GREEDY-full auto timer/profect b 2
custom ct 26 Tb.
custom FMIC and hard pipes.
TEIN type flexs.
i know i need to do the basics like HG and fuel system but any other suggestons would be helpful. :1zhelp:

Not automatic, you're not.

5spd or GM trans if you want auto.

A bigger turbo, some injectors, Lexus maf, FFIM, ect., and some good tuning.

you can reach those goals in an automatic, its just a little more expensive, you just have to upgrade your valve body and improve the cooling and you would be good for more horses, our trannies are pretty good

Agreed. Spend some money on the tranny first or you will burn it up.

With that said, what unit are you in?

at least get a cooler for it, heat is about the WORST thing that can happen to it, im assuming you have a340e, and at 400hp a lot of porblems that may have been dormant at 200hp will submerge, so prepare for that, then i personally would go 550's, maft, bigger turbo, tuning, and theen see where you are at, then check here again..

you're gonna need a 5 speed swap or have someone build the trans.

SF has a great FAQ on the 340 to beef it up so it can handle more power. Go look at it.

Also, getting to 400 is not that hard anymore. Bigger turbo, more fuel, good tune and your there easily... :bigthumb:
