If your talking about the calipers, i have no idea why you would want a floating caliper still...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_brake

Calipers

The brake caliper is the assembly which houses the brake pads and pistons. The pistons are usually made of aluminum or chrome-plated iron. There are two types of calipers: floating or fixed. A fixed caliper does not move relative to the disc. It uses one or more pairs of pistons to clamp from each side of the disc, and is more complex and expensive than a floating caliper. A floating caliper (also called a "sliding caliper") moves with respect to the disc; a piston on one side of the disc pushes the inner brake pad until it makes contact with the braking surface, then pulls the caliper body with the outer brake pad so pressure is applied to both sides of the disc.

Floating caliper (single piston) designs are subject to failure due to sticking which can occur due to dirt or corrosion if the vehicle is not operated regularly. This can cause the pad attached to the caliper to rub on the disc when the brake is released. This can reduce fuel effiency and cause excessive wear on the affected pad. Additional heat generated by the constantly rubbing pad can lead to warping of the disc also.

$500 for a set of ZX brakes? im guessing you mean calipers, pads and rotors? only the fronts will work (IIRC) and you cant use the ZX rotors because they wont fit (Also IIRC), you need to use MK4 front rotors or 350Z track rotors (Again IIRC). neither have the right hub bore size so either hub centric rings or grinding the hub are required (Also IIRC).

im going for ARZ's wilwoods when the time comes. cant beat bolt on perfection.

I already have 300zx calipers and can get my hands on TT supra rotors for free.... anyone still have some brackets laying around.. 300zx calipers are pretty good.

No, I thought they were too. Unfortunately the rotors are bolted solid to the hats.

I mean, its still probably one of the better kits out there, I was just a little disappointed thats all.

why would you want floating calipers and rotors?

our stock rotors are solid mount...at least mine were. only floating stock was caliper. the willwood kit looks to be fully solid mounted with opposing pistons in the caliper.

I run the 300zx Calipers up front with nissan 350z (Track edition in the USA) rotors. The brackets will also allow you to run nissan Skyline r33 and r34 GTR brembos as well as the 350z Track edition brembos as they as use the same bolt offsets as the 300zx calipers :)

Contact group-a-supra on here, re plicated the knightpager kit a while ago, he may have some brackets leftover

Yes. I don't know why bob thinks they are full floating rotors stock.

Google is your friend on the other question.
