4.30's?????

i have all my cars info in the sig but i was wondering if it would be worth it to swap my rearend and put in a 4.30? i have an extra one want all your opinions.

Well, you could search...

I think you will be hunting for traction too much with what you have done (more then me) In 1st gear at least my revs just fly to 6.5k with wheel spin with 4.30s, highway driving sucks (77mph at 3.5k), but for my HP level (fuel cut) all the other gears really get the car moving pretty quickly.

with a 4.3 rear end, the car will accelerate faster than any of the other diffs offered by toyota for our cars. Will you be able to control the extra wheelspin you'll get because of it, I dunno, I say just get better tires. Your top end will suffer, but as long as that is a trade-off your willing to make go for it.

I'm not a huge fan of the 4.30's with the T78...need more load in first gear, only build 4psi by redline... :(
