Check the yellow pages in your area for instrument makers/speedo's.

I used a GPS to get an accurate speed then wrote down the speedo reading and geve them this info and they were able to make me a ratio box that got it exact!
(I run a Tremec Trans with a 4.10 diff and 285/35/18 tires so mine was way out)

well there is a speed marker on a street close by, i probably can put on cruise control, have someone monitor it and then i can right down the marked speed, do you think this will suffice?

The speedo shop will have a measured section of floor and will roll the car over it with a counter on the cable and make the box based on this.

I prefer to do it my way as it allows for the error in the speedo itself.
