I have a set of injectors from a JDM 3sgte the toyota # is 23250-74200 they are baby blue in solor and thinner than the stock 7mgte injectors but the same height. I did some research and found them to be 540cc high impedence from a 98 or newer JDM 3sgte. I have 4 of them thay were for my wrx project which i sold 4 years ago. I still have the injectors lying around and was wondering is I could sure them in the 7mgte, assuming I buy 2 more of course, Has anyone heard of these injectors

That doesn't sound right. The 3SGTE used the vane airflow meter and had 200 hp. I highly doubt that to be correct. 540's in a 4 cylinder would support much more hp than the car needs.

JDM, in general, means nothing.

Actually JDM does mean something because Japan built cars and motors that we dont have here. The Toyota Caldina 97-02 is not available in the us but has a turbo 4cyl that puts out around 260 HP, anyway that is where these injectors are from and from research I saw that they are 540cc injectors

yep, in this case a little research does show them to be 540cc top feed high impedence injectors from a 3SGTE of some flavor or other. They dont look they will fit the head however, looks like a different nozzle end entirely. clips and fuels rails can always be modded, but modding the head to fit the injector would be harder. Doesnt seem worth it in my opinion when you can get a matched set for $350ish

Id say try to sell those to a MK2 MR2 owner whos looking to upgrade and buy the lex 550's. It would prob be easier than looking for the other two 540s.

Can different O-rings be used to allow them to fit into the er... manifold?

For your benifit, can you show where you found information from Toyota, not a board, rating it at 540cc?

Not questioning their flow, just your source.

the source isnt toyota directly, but enough circumstantial evidence makes its hard to discount.

btw, the ST215 puts down 256HP from a 2.0L motor. This is a rally car in street trim and even has a factory anti-lag setup (disabled at the factory) due to homologation demands for the rally world.

Where can you get a set of 6 550's for 350?

If you use the part number 195500-1370 for the RX7 Denso injectors (which are a drop in replacement) You can find several places that sell them for less than $60/ea. PTE's can be found for that price off ebay as well, but its recommended you have them flow tested before use JUST to be sure.
