3rd gear goes in rough

anyone have an idea why my 3rd gear goes in so rough? it seems to grind almost everytime i put it in if i am doing a decent speed.

the syncrhos are wearign off. Not too uncommon for an old car. Just uses some redline trans oil or royal opurple and you should be good, its helps a lot.

mine goes into 5th rough and its starting to have trouble in second. try aiming for the proper engine speed as you shift, or if you have to, wait a second to catch up to speed or double clutch it.

depends on the shops you go to or if you do it yourself. trannies are PITA's to work on btw, but its good to learn.
