Alright before anyone says I should have run 2.5 inch I know I should have. But I got a deal on 3 inch universal piping, the ones that could be found on ebay. Now I'm having problems with getting it to fit and was wondering if anyone out there was using 3inch piping and could show me how they got it set up. I'm still using the stock afm and I have a K&N air filter. I'm trying to get the piping to fit through the snorkel hole thats used for the stock airbox (I do have some issues with the headlight being in the way when closed, but it's not too serious). Any help would be apreciated:icon_bigg

Heres a pic of the pipes I have to deal with.

lol...nice. I actually saw that car in your build thread. I'm not trying to raise or cut the hood though, but I like your idea.

Took me all morning but I got it to fit in there. I can't close the headlights though which I don't really mind. Know that its not the cleanest fit but it works. No boost leaks and no couplers popping off, hopefully it stays that way. I did hit fuel cut pretty fast when test driving had to adjust the boost controller afterwards. Theres a noticeable increase in power but also a increase in lag as well. full boost doesn't come in till 3500 to 4000 rpm's.

That is ghetto.

Buy a 3.5" hole saw and enlarge the hole so you can put the headlight down.

My 3" pipes fit fine under the passenger headlight (FFIM)

I'm running 3" through the stock IC hole (enlarged with some cutting) with the stock intake manifold, although I have a completely different turbo setup than stock. It would rub on the hood a little bit, but there seemed to be a magic spot that it would barely even touch the hood. Now that I am AFM-less it fits fine - I know, I cheated :).

What size is your IC inlet/outlet?? 3" is overkill on anything less than a large frame turbo.
